At the start of January, we launched our social enterprise arm, as part of plans to both maintain and improve our tribute services going forward.

Since we were founded back in 2006 as a response to a personal bereavement, MuchLoved has grown from a small charity helping bereaved families honour their loved ones into the UK's leading in-memory tribute platform.
We now work with over 2,500 charity and funeral director partners, have supported over 300,000 families to remember their loved ones, and to date, have raised over £150 million for good causes up and down the country.
We want to continue our work in supporting bereaved families by helping them create beautiful tribute pages to remember their loved ones. Our mission of providing a dedicated place to remember for anyone bereaved is still at the heart of everything we do.
We embark on a new phase of the MuchLoved story which sees us change from a small charitable trust to a social enterprise. This change represents our commitment to providing a lasting, sustainable legacy and our unwavering dedication to supporting you - our cherished MuchLoved tribute owners and partners.
From January, the MuchLoved Charitable Trust will exist alongside MuchLoved Ltd, our new social enterprise arm, continuing to provide the UK’s leading tribute platform, your place to remember. The MuchLoved Charitable Trust will continue to handle the donations, but the tribute platform will be run, maintained and improved by the new social enterprise, MuchLoved Ltd.
Whilst this is an updated structure in the way that we maintain and develop the platform, for anyone using the tribute pages there is no change at all, and our services remain exactly the same.
We're in this for the long term. To ensure we stand by your side for the next decade and beyond, we've carefully considered what it takes to secure a future where MuchLoved continues to be your trusted haven for remembrance.
Creating a social enterprise will enable us to continue to provide both our partners and our users with the services they need for the long term. The new structure will help us to generate sustainable income through our business activities and enable us to invest in the technology that runs our platform to continue to develop and improve everything we offer you whilst upholding our fundamental commitment to supporting bereaved families.
